Recruitment Officer

About the role

Sirrom is expanding its operations across Western Australia and seeks an experienced Recruitment Officer to join the Perth team. The role supports multiple remote FIFO sites, managing the end‑to‑end hiring process for a variety of positions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with candidates over the phone and build genuine rapport.
• Review and shortlist high volumes of applications.
• Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess suitability.
• Coordinate face‑to‑face and Microsoft Teams interviews.
• Manage multiple vacancies across FIFO and corporate roles.
• Partner with Operations and Hiring Managers to understand workforce requirements.
• Prioritise recruitment activity based on business needs.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Required profile

• Proven high‑volume recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably in FIFO, mining, facilities management, construction or hospitality.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
• Ability to manage several vacancies and competing priorities.
• Excellent organisational detail and time‑management abilities.
• Independent work style while collaborating with a broader team.

Required skills

• Experience with ATS platforms such as JobAdder.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for virtual interviews.
