Recruitment Officer - Blue-Collar Recruitment

About the role

A client, a nationally operating engineering business delivering project-based work across Australia, is looking for a Recruitment Officer and Recruitment Administrator to support high-volume blue-collar recruitment. The role coordinates hiring for positions such as splatter painters, trade roles, skilled labourers, mechanical fitters, electricians, supervisors and other project-based roles. It is an on-site position in Wangara, Western Australia, paid 45-55 AUD per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring processes for blue-collar and trade positions across Australia
• Manage onboarding coordination, reference checking and medical administration
• Handle a large volume of references and medical bookings in a fast-paced environment
• Liaise with candidates and stakeholders and ensure pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time

Required profile

• Previous recruitment administration or workforce coordination experience
• Exposure to blue-collar, trades, industrial or project-based recruitment
• Ability to manage a busy workflow and coordinate many moving parts
• Detail-oriented, able to work at pace without compromising accuracy
