Recruitment Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Recruitment Consultant to build and own a new market desk from the ground up. You will identify emerging opportunities such as funding rounds, acquisitions or AI initiatives and translate them into talent solutions for our clients across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source and engage candidates using AI‑driven recruitment technology.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities through market research and networking.
• Build strong relationships with client decision‑makers and act as a trusted talent advisor.
• Drive the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement, ensuring a high‑quality candidate experience.
• Collaborate with internal teams for market insights, branding and service delivery.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record in agency recruitment or sales‑focused business development.
• Ability to work independently, self‑motivate and manage your own business development activities.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing a flexible schedule.
