Recruitment Consultant – Blue Collar Contract Team

About the role

NES Fircroft is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its Blue Collar Contract team in Perth. You will connect skilled tradespeople and site‑based professionals with major mining, energy and infrastructure projects, helping to power Australia’s resource sector.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leading contractors and asset owners to deliver responsive workforce solutions for site and shutdown demands.
• Own the full contract recruitment lifecycle – sourcing, screening, mobilising and managing skilled trades, operators and site‑based personnel.
• Provide market insight on workforce trends, availability challenges and compliance requirements.
• Develop new business opportunities across Western Australia’s resources and infrastructure sectors.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with the contract team, compliance specialists and mobilisation coordinators to deliver seamless solutions.

Required profile

• 2+ years of agency recruitment experience, preferably in blue‑collar, trades, industrial or resources sectors.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume recruitment with fast turnaround times.
• Client‑focused with a track record of building trusted relationships under pressure.
• Resilient, driven and comfortable working in a target‑oriented environment.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication skills.
• Commercial awareness of margins, contractor management and business growth.
