Recruiter II

About the role

Datadog is hiring a Recruiter II in Sydney to be the face of recruiting and the first point of contact for new candidates. The role shapes the company's growth, its reputation and the candidate experience, working in a hybrid workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing qualified talent for open roles through job posts, referrals, agencies and direct outreach
• Screening candidates so their qualifications match the open roles
• Working with leadership to design or streamline interview processes
• Ensuring follow-up and closure for all interviewed candidates
• Negotiating compensation with qualified candidates
• Training interview teams and improving the recruitment process
• Using Greenhouse to track candidate progress, resurface existing talent and keep data clean for reporting
• Making sure candidates have an excellent interview experience, regardless of outcome

Required profile

• Full-lifecycle recruiting experience, 2-5 years in-house or in a staffing agency
• Strong sourcing skills and autonomy to handle several positions at once
• Ability to sell the value proposition, negotiate and close candidates
• Works with a sense of urgency and adapts to changing processes
