Record Control & Processing Manager – Health Records Leadership

About the role

Liverpool Hospital is seeking a dedicated Record Control & Processing Manager to lead its Clinical Information team. In this senior position you will oversee both paper and electronic/document imaging records, ensuring efficient, compliant service delivery 24/7.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, coaching and development for a high‑performing Clinical Information team.
• Manage the end‑to‑end records control system, including paper and electronic/document imaging workflows.
• Oversee rostering, supervision, training and forms design for the records department.
• Collaborate with senior managers, clinical teams and external stakeholders to improve operational performance and ensure legislative compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion best practice across Clinical Information Services.

Required profile

• Proven people‑leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Background in health information or records management with strong knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with electronic document imaging and records management systems.
• Knowledge of health information management legislation and compliance standards.
