Raw Materials Operator – Day Shift

About the role

Join the Smith’s Snackfood Company as a Raw Materials Operator on the day shift, supporting the production of iconic snack brands. You will work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, handling inbound and outbound materials while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate high‑reach and counterbalance forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods.
• Pick, wrap, palletise, and dispatch orders efficiently.
• Manage receipt, storage, and inventory of materials, maintaining accurate records.
• Perform basic oil tank farm operations, including unloading liquid and grain bulk carriers.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and cleaning/sanitation of equipment and work areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience operating forklifts (high‑reach and counterbalance).
• Valid forklift licence with proven on‑the‑job use.
• Computer literate with the ability to record and review data.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks safely.
• Effective communication and basic numerical comprehension.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
