Quality Lead

About the role

Pact Packaging is seeking an experienced Quality Lead to own and continuously improve the Quality Management System at its manufacturing site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will ensure ISO 9001 compliance, drive quality excellence, and support the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001, customer and Pact Group requirements.
• Champion safety‑first culture and support Zero Harm initiatives.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, quality inspections, and calibration programmes for measuring equipment.
• Manage internal and external audits, accreditation, non‑conformances, customer complaints, CAPAs and investigations.
• Analyse quality data, produce reports and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with production, maintenance, technical, customer service and sales teams to improve quality performance.
• Deliver training and coaching to build quality capability across the site.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on customer satisfaction, waste reduction and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Hands‑on quality professional with strong manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to influence outcomes and work collaboratively across functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Interest in sustainability and continuous‑improvement practices.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 compliance and QMS expertise.
• SAP experience (highly regarded).
