Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Minetek is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all components, sub‑assemblies and finished products meet strict customer and company specifications. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on incoming materials, components, assemblies and finished goods.
• Perform in‑process checks to verify compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Identify, record and report non‑conformances and quality issues.
• Complete accurate inspection reports, quality records and related documentation.
• Support investigations of production and quality problems together with engineering and production staff.
• Guide production teams on quality requirements and suggest improvement opportunities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining inspection checklists and quality procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Quality Control or Quality Assurance Inspector in manufacturing, engineering, fabrication or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of inspection processes, testing methods and compliance requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with production and engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
