Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Kilcoy Global Foods, a global foods solutions business specialising in premium Australian beef, lamb and protein products sold in more than 50 countries, is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join its team in Kilcoy. The role supports operational teams by monitoring effective QA practices and providing corrective and preventative actions, ensuring consistent quality delivery to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements through partnership with Production.
• Document control and report on non-conformance and Corrective Action Requirements (CARs) within the Quality Management System.
• Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes.
• Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries and respond to customer complaints.
• Ensure all staff are aware of and comply with Quality Management System requirements.

Required profile

• HACCP qualification, AusMeat specification qualification, or a quality assurance background in food manufacturing.
• Or operational experience in a meat processing facility.
• Unlimited working rights within Australia.
• Accountability, commitment to company values and food safety culture, attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow-through.
• Ability to work alongside a diverse workforce.

Required skills

• Good computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
