Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will join the small administration team at Adelaide Central School of Art, overseeing the administration of accredited award degree programmes. This full‑time role ensures that the School’s policies, procedures and delivery meet the Higher Education Standards Framework 2021 and comply with TEQSA requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage effective administration of accredited award programmes.
• Ensure compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework 2021 and TEQSA regulations.
• Develop, review and maintain policies and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor workflows, prioritize competing demands and handle issues under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality and respond sensitively to complex grievances.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in compliance processes within the higher education sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and working under pressure.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Higher Education Threshold Standards and TEQSA requirements.
• Experience in policy development and quality assurance processes.
