Quality Assurance Leader

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Leader to drive continuous improvement of the site’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role ensures compliance with Unilever standards, food‑safety requirements and regulatory obligations while fostering a strong quality culture across the manufacturing site.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and functional expertise for QA and site personnel.
• Manage, coach and develop the site QA team.
• Maintain and improve the site Quality Management System and drive achievement of quality KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC22000, HACCP, GMP and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee internal and external audits, prepare documentation and respond to audit findings.
• Investigate complaints, implement corrective actions and update the QMS.
• Collaborate with R&D, engineering and production on new product development and quality matters.
• Introduce global and regional quality initiatives and track related KPIs and KAIs.
• Manage external stakeholder relationships, including regulatory bodies.
• Control the quality budget and support the Site Leadership Team in overall performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading QA functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety standards such as FSSC22000, HACCP and GMP.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits, investigations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent coaching and people‑development skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams including R&D, engineering and production.
