Quality and Safety Manager

About the role

The Quality and Safety Manager will lead a proactive culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement for Bupa’s ADF Health Services, supporting 85,000 personnel across 59 facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the assurance function, aligning priorities with organisational objectives.
• Design, implement and continuously strengthen quality and assurance programmes and clinical governance frameworks.
• Lead service‑delivery optimisation initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, quality and outcomes.
• Manage investigations into near‑misses and incidents, and oversee escalation of clinical and governance risks.
• Partner with operational teams to streamline processes, reduce inefficiencies and enhance member and practitioner experience.

Required profile

• Health Professional or Allied Health Practitioner with extensive experience in clinical governance, quality and risk management.
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications or progress towards them (e.g., Quality Management, Health Administration, Clinical Governance).
• Proven ability to develop and implement frameworks, drive outcomes and manage geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines in high‑pressure environments.
