About the role

Country Club Tasmania, a 300-acre resort near Launceston's CBD offering accommodation, dining, gaming and leisure, is hiring a qualified electrician. This is a hands-on, full-time role in which you maintain and repair electrical systems across hotel, gaming and facilities environments, working within a multi-skilled team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a broad range of electrical systems
• Service and troubleshoot Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs)
• Diagnose faults and deliver practical solutions
• Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests across the property
• Ensure all work meets compliance, safety and regulatory standards

Required profile

• A Grade Electrical Licence (Tasmania) is essential
• Current Tasmanian Gaming Technician's Licence, or willingness to obtain one
• Current driver's licence
• Experience in a similar maintenance or hospitality environment is advantageous

• Fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach
