About the role
Seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage local procurement for a major infrastructure project, handling sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders and delivery coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Manage RFQs, quotations and purchase orders, ensuring timely processing.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers on pricing and delivery terms to achieve best value.
- Track and expedite orders to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Finance departments for seamless procurement flow.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required profile
- 5+ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement, including RFQs, supplier negotiations, purchase orders and expediting.
- Background in construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry preferred.
