Property & Business Lawyer

About the role

Everingham Solomons, one of NSW's leading regional law firms with offices in Tamworth, Port Macquarie and Quirindi, is seeking a Property, Small Business & General Lawyer for its Tamworth office. The role covers residential, commercial and rural property matters, small business transactions and general legal work.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential, commercial and rural property transactions
• Deal with retail, commercial and rural leasing
• Advise on small business sales and purchases
• Prepare contracts
• Provide estate planning and probate services
• Draft documents and conduct legal research

Required profile

• At least 1.5 years of professional experience
• Strong skills in property, business law and contracts
• Excellent communication, drafting and client-management skills
• Desire to serve clients and grow a client base
• High level of organisation and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail
• Interest in future specialist accreditation or postgraduate study
