Project Surveyor

About the role

DOF is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join its high‑performing Survey & Inspection team in Perth. You will act as the survey lead on offshore projects, overseeing tendering, mobilisation, execution and handover of survey deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate survey manning levels, technical solutions, equipment choices and methodologies.
• Develop procedures, schedule planning and organise survey activities with the Survey & Geomatics Lead and department manager.
• Manage the survey side of decommissioning, diving, inspection or geophysical projects from tender to final client handover.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in hydrographic surveying, geoscience or equivalent experience.
• 5‑10 years of offshore survey operations experience, including senior surveyor or Party Chief roles.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and communicate effectively in English.

Required skills

• Hydrographic surveying and geoscience knowledge.
• Proficiency with EIVA software, LBL systems, MBES, AUV and ROV equipment.
• Diving and inspection survey experience.
