Project Manager – SAP Work Packages

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of work packages within a large‑scale SAP program. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure that deliverables meet program standards and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day management of work package activities, including planning, scheduling, progress tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate functional, technical and testing teams to achieve timely delivery of deliverables.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests with appropriate escalation.
• Support project governance activities such as status reporting, steering committee inputs and assurance reviews.
• Facilitate workshops, stand‑ups, design walkthroughs and cross‑team discussions.
• Monitor resource allocation, workload balance and forecasting for the work package.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business readiness and alignment with program outcomes.
• Support test planning, cut‑over, transition and post‑go‑live activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing work packages or projects in large SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP program structures, delivery life cycles and integration points.
• Experience working within structured governance frameworks in complex enterprise or government settings.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
• Australian citizenship and mandatory AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (NV1 preferred).
