Project Manager – Innovation and Improvement

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead projects within the Innovation and Improvement Unit of St John of God Midland Public Hospital. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational objectives while keeping patient care at the core.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and according to approved methodologies.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities, resources, schedules and priorities.
• Manage scope, risks and issues, implementing appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
• Prepare project reports, evaluate outcomes and provide regular updates to governance bodies and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and organisational requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification with experience in project management or similar roles.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and support complex, organisation‑wide or cross‑functional change initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
