Project Manager – Health Projects (Port Macquarie)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to support large‑scale health projects, reporting to senior project managers and directors. The role involves overseeing facility planning, design, procurement and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage projects as the primary client interface, handling complex stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, risk registers and reporting mechanisms.
• Review project plans, specifications and schedules, identifying cost‑saving measures and potential construction issues.
• Chair project meetings with clients and consultants, driving business outcomes alongside project outcomes.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or equivalent in Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or Cost Management.
• 3‑5 years of project management experience, preferably in consultancy or client side within the health sector.
• Existing Australian work rights and ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent written English.
• Leadership capability to lead and develop project teams.
