Project Manager – Data Centre

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead data centre projects in Sydney. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end service delivery, ensuring projects meet client objectives, time, cost and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project management commissions and establish project success criteria including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance processes and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage change control, monitor finances, and prepare formal progress reports.
• Facilitate communication between the project team, client and consultants, ensuring quality, safety, health and environmental issues are addressed.
• Contribute to knowledge management by entering key information into the internal database and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of project management experience in construction or related environments.
• Thorough understanding of the full project life cycle from conception to post‑project review.
• Experience working in the Australian market and with client‑focused environments.
• Strong business development background, including cross‑selling and developing new client relationships.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
• Skilled in creating presentations with Microsoft PowerPoint.
