Project Manager – Business Transformation (12‑month Fixed Term)

About the role

Join Capricorn’s Enterprise Project Management Office in Perth on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects that drive organisational change, workforce capability and new ways of working as part of Capricorn’s new Operating Model.

Key responsibilities

• Create clear delivery plans, governance structures and disciplined controls for scope, time, cost, quality and risk.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage project dependencies and vendors, and provide accurate status reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Support implementation and adoption by working closely with the People & Experience team to translate strategic intent into practical outcomes.
• Facilitate changes to organisational structures, roles, performance practices, capability development and leadership expectations.
• Resolve delivery blockers, manage external resources and transition completed project outcomes into operational support.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience planning, leading and delivering complex projects within approved scope, time, cost, quality and risk tolerances.
• At least five years’ experience leading cross‑functional project teams of five or more, including business representatives, technology resources and external suppliers.
• Proven ability to establish effective governance forums, maintain clear project artefacts and report progress against plans and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the capacity to influence and build commitment across executive and operational teams.
• Experience supporting organisational change and successful adoption of new structures, processes or ways of working.
