Project Management Professionals – Defence Sector Opportunities

About the role

KBR is seeking experienced project management professionals to support high‑profile defence and capability programmes across Australia. Candidates will contribute to complex projects that enhance national security and sovereign capability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex projects, programmes or portfolios within the defence sector.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Open Plan Professional.
• Control costs, manage risks and engage stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide governance support through PMO functions, including reporting and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex projects or programmes.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Baseline Defence Security Clearance (or higher) must be held and maintained.
• Defence industry experience is highly regarded.
