Project Leader – Architecture

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Leader to drive architectural projects from concept through construction in our Melbourne studio. You will work across residential, cultural, commercial and civic sectors, shaping design outcomes while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial concept to construction completion, ensuring design intent is maintained.
• Coordinate internal design teams, external consultants and client stakeholders.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and deliverables with clarity.
• Oversee documentation, quality assurance processes and delivery excellence.
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of learning.
• Contribute to studio-wide improvements, systems and project strategy.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in architectural practice with proven project leadership.
• Registered Architect in Australia or on the pathway to registration.
• Strong design and technical abilities across documentation and delivery.
• Calm, solutions‑focused approach to team leadership and problem solving.
• Passion for inclusive, high‑quality design and collaborative studio environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
