Project Controls Analyst – Cost & Schedule

About the role

The Project Controls Analyst will support Liberty Industrial’s project teams by managing cost data, forecasting financial performance and providing insight into risks and opportunities. This commercially focused position bridges transactional cost control with strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and analyse project budgets, actual costs, commitments, accruals, revenue and forecasts, ensuring data accuracy.
• Prepare and own cost and financial reporting, including weekly and monthly reports, and explain variances and trends to senior management.
• Develop Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Completion (EAC) and cash‑flow forecasts with clear commentary.
• Monitor and administer Cost Transfer Requests (CTRs) and ensure alignment with approved budgets and change approvals.
• Partner with Project Management, Finance, Procurement, Planning and Controls teams to support integrated cost‑schedule reporting.

Required profile

• Strong experience in project financial analysis, cost control and forecasting within construction or EPC environments.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for project and senior managers.
• Proven track record of identifying emerging financial risks and opportunities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modelling and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management concepts.
