Project Change Manager – Defence & Infrastructure

About the role

Join a high‑impact client‑side Project Controls team working on a nationally significant Defence project in Adelaide. You will lead change control activities, providing strategic insights and ensuring robust impact assessments across cost, schedule and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Manage change control for the project/program, tracking, reporting and analysing variations and emerging trends.
• Coordinate integrated baseline management exercises throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Assess change/variation requests, ensuring timely impact assessments are completed by relevant teams.
• Support delivery of programme controls maturity and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain an Australian Baseline Security Clearance, or UK citizenship with current UK clearance.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence across PMO and delivery teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of change control, cost planning, scheduling and risk management principles.
• Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver integrated outcomes.

Required skills

• Familiarity with project control systems such as Contruent (formerly Prism).
• Knowledge of P3M frameworks and IT solutions for programme controls.
• Professional qualifications such as P30, Prince2, MSP, APM PMQ, PPQ, CHPPM or equivalent.
