Project Architect / Senior Interior Designer – Canberra

About the role

Gray Puksand is looking for an ambitious Architect or Senior Interior Designer to join its Canberra studio. This design‑led position offers the chance to lead high‑quality, city‑shaping projects across workspace, commercial, education and health‑science sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to projects from concept design through to handover.
• Manage consultant teams, client relationships and internal design staff.
• Drive strong design outcomes while ensuring technical rigour.
• Produce and review high‑quality documentation using Revit.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience delivering complex architectural or interior design projects.
• Strong design, design development and construction knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
• Passion for producing superior design outcomes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
