Production Technician – Pharmaceutical Compounding

About the role

Slade Health is a national sterile compounding service provider with TGA-accredited manufacturing facilities in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales. It produces pharmaceutical products from chemotherapy drugs through to sterile antibiotics and patient nutrition products, receiving orders from hospitals and dispatching them to patients across Australia. The position is a permanent full-time and contract role at the Geebung site, working the morning shift (5:30am–1:30pm) or 2pm–10:06pm Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Decontaminate materials
• Print labels and batch documents
• Compound and mix products in the cleanroom
• Check, pack and label the finished product
• Ensure completion of documentation

Required profile

• No formal qualifications required; commitment to training is more important
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately and with attention to product quality
• An eye for detail and meticulous record-keeping
• A proactive, enthusiastic working style and strong communication skills
• Pass a pre-employment medical including a supervised drug test before starting
