Production Team Leader - Night Shift (Bakery)

About the role

A well-established national food manufacturer running a high-volume bakery in Yatala, Queensland, is adding a Production Team Leader to its night shift. The team covers several bakery lines and reports to the Night Shift Production Supervisor. The night shift runs from 10pm to 6am, five nights a week (Sunday to Thursday), with a full weekend off.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 12 to 24 people across multiple bakery lines
• Operate and support the team on site equipment, including dough mixers and sheeting machines
• Hand over to the incoming shift at the end of each night

Required profile

• Team leader experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment is ideal
• Team leaders from other manufacturing industries, or experienced bakery operators ready to move into leadership, are encouraged to apply
• Comfortable working a permanent night shift

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with dough mixing, sheeting or similar production equipment; training is provided
