Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production line. This role ensures that productivity targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the line to meet productivity targets, minimise downtime, waste and rework, and address anomalies with root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Oversee production procedures to ensure compliance with quality specifications, GMP, legislative and site standards, and keep employees informed.
• Pre‑plan daily tasks before shift start to enable efficient start‑up.
• Ensure batch sheets, filling sheets, clean‑out sheets, time sheets, logs and other production records are accurately completed according to GMP and QA standards.
• Identify cost‑saving and improvement opportunities within the line and the plant.
• Contribute to employee engagement through regular communication with the team.

Required profile

• At least 5+ years' experience in production in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• 3 to 5 years' experience leading teams of 10 operators or more.
• Experience in the use of SAP systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian and NSW workplace health and safety regulations.
• Analytical mindset with effective time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
