Production Operator

About the role

Bega Group's Bentley site in Perth manufactures and distributes milk and milk-based products made from fresh milk sourced from over 30 farms in south-western WA. The site produces more than 70 million litres a year, including the state's number-one flavoured milk product, Masters. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract to cover parental leave, with a Monday-to-Saturday rotating roster covering day and afternoon shifts (Day Shift 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Afternoon Shift 2:30 PM - 12:00 AM).

Key responsibilities

• Accurately complete and record all quality, testing and production-related documents.
• Work efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Report safety incidents and maintenance requirements.
• Keep production areas clean to quality standards.
• Follow company safety and quality policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
• Must hold a current Australian driver's licence and complete a pre-employment medical.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft, Excel, Outlook)
• Mechanical aptitude
