Production Operator

About the role

Air Liquide Australia is seeking a safety‑focused Production Operator for its Elizabeth, SA facility. Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be involved in gas production, quality analysis and supply‑chain operations to ensure reliable delivery of essential gases.

Key responsibilities

• Direct Production & Automated Filling – operate high‑pressure gas filling systems and manufacture dry ice to meet demand.
• Logistics & Forklift Operations – load and unload cylinder delivery vehicles by hand and forklift, organise empty and filled cylinders within high‑pressure zones.
• Quality Assurance & Cylinder Testing – perform pressure and structural integrity tests, analyse gas purity and maintain quality records.
• Safety Stewardship & Operational Agility – adhere to HSEQ guidelines and work rotating shifts to support continuous supply.

Required profile

• Current Australian High Risk Work Licence for Forklifts (LF).
• Foundational knowledge of process plant operations, hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and strictly follow technical guidelines, safety regulations and SOPs.
• Excellent time‑management and ability to coordinate competing priorities in a busy warehouse.
• Willingness to work rotating morning and afternoon shift rosters.

Required skills

• Forklift operation licence (High Risk Work Licence – LF).
• Process plant operation knowledge.
• Mechanical equipment handling.
