Production Operator

About the role

Join Orrcon Steel as a Production Operator Team Member at our O'Sullivan Beach plant. This permanent full‑time position starts on rotating day and afternoon shifts and will transition to a standard Monday‑to‑Friday day schedule. Comprehensive training is provided to develop your manufacturing skills and support future career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery to manufacture steel tubes and pipe products.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Pack and strap finished steel products for shipment.
• Perform routine machinery maintenance and cleaning.
• Operate overhead gantry cranes safely.
• Drive forklifts to move materials around the production floor.
• Contribute actively to a safe working environment.
