Production Operator – Gas Plant

About the role

Join BOC Limited Australia as a Gas Plant Production Operator, responsible for filling, handling, and testing cylinders in a safe, efficient environment. You will help meet productivity and service targets while upholding health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read, understand, and perform all production duties according to written procedures, internal standards and relevant regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment in line with company OHS policies and WA Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
• Perform housekeeping in designated work areas.
• Ensure released product meets BOC specifications and medical product quality requirements (TGA/Medsafe).
• Minimise product losses while operating equipment.
• Prepare, control, monitor, inspect and maintain equipment for continuous operation.
• Deliver the highest standard of service to internal and external customers.
• Report and discuss any workplace or position‑related issues.

Required profile

• Forklift operator competency.
• Formal certification in relevant production activities.
• At least two years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience in gas production, including preparation, control and analysis for continuous or batch operations.
• Willingness to work day and afternoon shifts on a rotational or relief basis.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend operating procedures.
• Understanding of manual handling and the Dangerous Goods Act.
