About the role
Lactalis, the largest dairy producer in the world and a major player in the Australian dairy industry, is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Operator for a full-time position at its Lidcombe manufacturing plant. The plant produces well-known Australian brands such as Pauls Milk, Oak Flavoured Milk, Farmhouse Gold, Ice Break and Breaka. Positions of this kind are rare and often go unfilled because of long tenures.
Required profile
- Team-oriented and skilled operator
- Self-motivated, able to work shift work and overtime as required
- Safety and quality focused
- Previous experience operating liquid rotary fillers in the food industry preferred
Required skills
- Solid understanding of GMP and HACCP principles
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Lateral thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills
- SAP system experience highly regarded
