Production Administration Support Officer

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Administration Support Officer will sit at the heart of Metso's production team. You will coordinate customer orders, support production planning and help keep the supply chain running smoothly to ensure on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage work orders aligned with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate and process customer orders across production and supply‑chain functions.
• Review Bill of Materials, routings and technical drawings to prepare job cards for the workshop.
• Receipt and finalise work orders, adjusting materials, labour and costs based on production feedback.
• Maintain accurate production records for traceability and quality compliance.
• Update material master data within SAP.
• Liaise with production teams to track order progress and resolve issues.
• Provide general office support, including reception duties, mail handling and meeting coordination.
• Support the wider team with ad‑hoc administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Intermediate computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Previous experience in a similar production administration role (2+ years preferred).
• Exposure to a manufacturing or production environment.
