Procurement Officer

About the role

Warrikal is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in West Perth. This hands‑on role supports purchasing, supplier management, tenders and RFQs across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with tenders, RFQs and market price requests, including tender estimations.
• Source, negotiate and manage local and international suppliers to achieve best value, quality and performance.
• Manage high‑volume purchasing and expedite orders to meet supplier delivery timeframes.
• Maintain vendor compliance, onboarding and supplier documentation.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, leveraging industry networks.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement processes and requirements are followed.
• Resolve supplier delivery, quality or technical issues and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.
• Fluent Mandarin for direct communication with Mandarin‑speaking suppliers.
• Understanding of international supply‑chain functions and experience coordinating overseas suppliers.
• Proven ability to expedite orders, manage delivery timeframes and handle high‑volume workloads.
• Strong knowledge of RFQs, tenders, vendor compliance and procurement processes.
• Experience in a mechanical or industrial environment, sourcing hand tools, consumables and operational requirements.
