Procurement Manager - Data Centres

About the role

Goodman is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end procurement for major data centre projects. The role will drive commercial discipline, supplier engagement and risk mitigation to ensure cost, schedule and quality objectives are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing strategy and supplier pre‑qualification to contract award and post‑award administration.
• Develop and execute category strategies for critical packages such as electrical infrastructure, mechanical plant, controls, BMS/EPMS and other long‑lead equipment.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tender clarifications and bid evaluations, ensuring alignment with technical and governance requirements.
• Lead negotiations to secure commercial outcomes while balancing cost, quality, programme and risk.
• Source, track and expedite long‑lead equipment, collaborating with project delivery, engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant procurement and contract management experience in complex project environments such as data centres, large‑scale construction or critical facilities.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end procurement for major CAPEX projects, including supplier pre‑qualification, RFQ/RFP processes and contract administration.
• Strong exposure to technical procurement packages including electrical infrastructure, mechanical plant, switchgear, generators, UPS, chillers, controls and BMS/EPMS.
• Experience sourcing and expediting long‑lead equipment and mitigating supply‑chain risks in schedule‑driven projects.
• Commercial acumen in total cost of ownership, lifecycle cost analysis and value engineering.
