Procurement Manager – APAC Region

About the role

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across the APAC region. Based in either Perth or Kuala Lumpur, you will ensure timely, cost‑effective sourcing of materials, equipment and services for complex energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement cycle for assigned categories and regions.
• Develop and enforce procurement policies, procedures and best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conducting performance evaluations and improvement plans.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Monitor procurement spend against budgets and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with project needs.
• Provide procurement status reports to business line and project managers.
• Manage ethics and risk mapping based on geographic footprint.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in end‑to‑end supply chain, logistics or operations, preferably across multiple APAC countries.
• Background in a regulated, complex or asset‑intensive industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field.
