Private Works Manager

About the role

Unitywater is seeking a Private Works Manager to lead the growth, profitability and strategic direction of its Private Works business. You will combine commercial leadership, business development and operational excellence to position Private Works as a preferred delivery partner across development, construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategic partnerships to expand the Private Works portfolio.
• Lead business development, commercial negotiations and market engagement to increase profitability.
• Maximise the performance of people, contractors and operational capabilities to deliver safe, efficient and commercially successful outcomes.
• Build and sustain a strong safety culture while driving quality, efficiency and sustainable commercial success.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in Business, Management, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience leading commercially accountable teams and delivering revenue growth.
• Proven track record developing and executing business development and growth strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to secure new business opportunities in competitive markets.
