Private Wealth Adviser

About the role

The Private Wealth Adviser supports senior advisers in managing financial advice relationships with high‑net‑worth ANZ Private clients. You will deliver compliant retail financial advice, assist with wholesale advice, and help execute investment transactions for self‑directed clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior Private Wealth Advisers in overseeing client relationships and delivering tailored advice.
• Provide high‑quality retail financial advice aligned with clients’ values, goals and financial position.
• Ensure advice and investment instructions are implemented accurately, timely and in line with ANZ Private Bank policies.
• Collaborate with advice assistants, paraplanners and referral partners such as private and business bankers.
• Maintain compliance with the Corporations Act, ASIC regulations, the Adviser Code of Ethics and other legal requirements.
• Record and resolve client complaints according to policy.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of high‑net‑worth client needs and financial planning principles.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple client priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑first mindset.
• Commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASIC regulatory framework.
• Experience delivering compliant financial advice.
• Proficiency in executing investment transactions for self‑directed accounts.
