Principal Consultant - Logistics/Fleet

About the role

Proxima is seeking a Principal Consultant – Logistics/Fleet to act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. You will lead high‑value, complex engagements, shape transformational outcomes and help build the firm’s capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead large, multi‑workstream procurement and transformation programmes.
• Translate client vision into practical, executable solutions and ensure delivery excellence.
• Partner with senior executives, build trusted relationships and act as a strategic advisor.
• Navigate ambiguity, maintain momentum and drive outcomes across competing priorities.
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements and communicate findings clearly.
• Coach, mentor and develop consultants at all levels, contributing to Proxima’s apprenticeship culture.
• Develop intellectual capital, lead IP and methodology creation, and engage in Communities of Practice.
• Support business development and identify growth opportunities.
• Work in a global, hybrid model, balancing client, home and office work, with travel as needed.

Required profile

• Significant consulting experience, preferably in procurement or a related domain.
• Proven track record of leading complex client engagements.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen with a leadership mindset.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Excellent coaching, people‑development and consulting approach.
• Structured problem‑solving, storytelling skills and executive presence.
• Ownership‑driven, delivery‑focused attitude.
