About the role

Northern Peninsula Area State College provides Kindergarten to Year 12 education for the communities of Bamaga, Injinoo, Umagico, New Mapoon and Seisia, bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and connections to Country. The school is seeking primary, secondary and special education teachers for 2026 and 2027. It welcomes graduate, beginning and experienced teachers who are adaptable, community-minded and committed to student success.

Special Education and Inclusion opportunities are available across the Junior and Senior Campuses, including within the Special Education Hub in the Junior Campus.

Required profile

• A relevant teaching qualification
• Full or provisional registration with the Queensland College of Teachers, or eligibility to obtain registration
• Australian working rights or an appropriate visa
• Pre-service teachers should include practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial academic transcript
