Primary Teacher (Year 3-6) - Part-Time, Rural

About the role

Hannaford State School, a small rural school with around 22 students across two multi-age classrooms, is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and inclusive teacher to join in 2027. The position is part-time, working Thursdays and Fridays, and offers the chance to build close relationships and deliver individualised learning.

Key responsibilities

• Day 1: teach a multi-age class of 11 students in Year 3-6, covering Science, HASS and Technologies through differentiated learning aligned with the Australian Curriculum; Thursday is preferred but flexibility is available.
• Day 2: provide non-contact coverage for the Teaching Principal and the P-2 teacher, including delivering HPE across Prep-Year 6 and adapting lessons to different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional QCT registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Pre-service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, including practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial transcript.
