Primary Teacher – Multiple Opportunities

About the role

The Willows State School is seeking enthusiastic primary teachers to join our vibrant community. Positions are available across Year 5, Year 6 and learning‑support or behaviour‑management roles, with a focus on delivering high‑quality education in a safe, respectful and responsible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum and the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework.
• Provide learning support for students from Prep to Year 6, adapting resources to meet diverse needs.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and the wider school community to support student wellbeing and achievement.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education).
• Full or provisional Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
• Australian work rights or a valid visa.
• Pre‑service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, providing practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial transcript.
