About the role
Woorabinda State School is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to deliver targeted literacy and numeracy support for students from Prep to Year 6. This role is part of the school’s Partnership Initiative, focusing on improving learning outcomes in a community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence‑based literacy and numeracy intervention programs.
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, and school leadership to monitor progress.
- Use data‑informed practices to tailor support for individual student needs.
- Contribute to broader school goals such as attendance, engagement and achievement.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification.
- Full or provisional Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
- Australian work rights or a valid visa.
- Pre‑service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply, providing practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial transcript.
