Primary Teacher – 2027 (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Greenfields Primary School is building a pool of enthusiastic Primary Teachers for permanent, fixed‑term, full‑time and part‑time positions starting in the 2027 school year. Successful candidates will join a collaborative team focused on evidence‑based literacy and numeracy instruction.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for middle and upper primary students.
• Use assessment data and student achievement information to differentiate instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with year‑level and whole‑school teams for shared planning, moderation and professional learning.
• Implement structured literacy and numeracy warm‑ups and daily review sessions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated passion for making a genuine difference for students and high expectations for learning.
• Strong classroom management skills to create a calm, positive, and structured learning environment.
• Commitment to collaborative work within year‑level and whole‑school teams.
• Willingness to contribute to whole‑school improvement priorities and maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Sounds‑Write, Heggerty, The Syntax Project, Tracks to Literacy, The Writing Revolution, General Knowledge units, and the Elementary Maths Program (EMP).
• Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and ability to apply explicit, high‑impact teaching practices.
