About the role

Oakwood Primary School is building a pool of qualified Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions that may arise during the 2026 school year. The role involves delivering high‑impact instruction in English and Mathematics and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons for Kindergarten to Year 6 students.
• Collaborate with the leadership team and fellow teachers to enhance instructional practices.
• Participate in Teach Well professional learning and apply explicit instruction strategies.
• Engage with students, families, and the wider school community to support student wellbeing.
• Take on additional duties beyond classroom teaching as needed, including committee work and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with registration to teach in Western Australia.
• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to school development.
• Experience or interest in implementing whole‑school teaching approaches.
