Primary Distance Education Teacher

About the role

The Australian Christian College (ACC) is seeking a full‑time Primary Distance Education Teacher to join its Marsden Park campus. You will deliver high‑quality online learning for primary‑aged students, ensuring alignment with Australian teaching standards and the college’s pedagogical framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective primary curriculum programmes for distance‑learning students.
• Maintain accurate student records, work samples and performance reports for parents, the department and other stakeholders.
• Stay current with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and NESA curriculum requirements.
• Support the physical, social, cultural and emotional wellbeing and safety of all learners.
• Provide targeted feedback and monitor student progress in line with the college’s Signature Pedagogies.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with experience in distance or online education.
• Familiarity with Australian curriculum policies, NESA standards and relevant syllabi.
• Commitment to the college’s Christian ethos and its focus on spiritual, academic, social and physical development.
• Ability to collaborate with pedagogical coaches and contribute to a professional learning culture.
