Pressure Equipment Inspector (AICIP/API)

About the role

SRG Global is expanding its team and is looking for skilled and certified AICIP/API inspectors to join on a permanent full-time basis in Smithfield, NSW. The inspector performs inspections of pressure equipment and piping systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in-service inspection of pressure equipment, including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping and storage tanks
• Prepare inspection reports according to client requirements
• Assess corrosion rates, equipment condition and remaining service life
• Work independently and travel to site when required

Required profile

• Valid API653 qualification or equivalent AICIP Plant Inspector qualification
• API510 and API570 highly regarded
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen

Required skills

• Strong understanding of pressure vessel, piping and storage tank compliance requirements
• Excellent reporting, communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
